What is Alpha? 

The Alpha course is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in an open, non-threatening setting over eight thought-provoking weekly sessions. It is low-key, friendly and fun and is supported by all the main Christian denominations.  At each meeting there will be food to share, a talk and open group discussions. It's a great way to explore the meaning of life and also ask those questions you have always wanted to ask! Alpha is completely free. 

Who is Alpha for?

The Alpha Course has been designed primarily for people who aren't churchgoers and each course is open to everyone who would like to attend. Alpha has been attended by over 2 million people in the UK and 11 million world wide.

Guests attend for a wide variety of reasons - some want to investigate whether God exists; others are concerned about what happens after death. Some people have particular questions that they would like to discuss; others want to understand other peoples' beliefs or would like to explore what the purpose of life is.
