Special events

As well as our regular activities, we also run special events throughout the year.

Soul Survivor

A group of young people from Holland Road attend Soul Survivor every year.  This is always a special time for young people - they enjoy great times of worship, thought provoking discussions and fun camping times.  The 2012 trip will be taking place from 7th - 11th August (week B).  Please contact Gary or Laura for more information about Soul Survivor and please be praying for the young people going on this trip!

Weekends away

There will be weekends away taking place throughout the year - these are always fun times when young people can spend time together getting to know each other more and also getting to know God more.  Dates and venues will be posted here soon!

Mentoring

All young people are offered the opportunity to meet up with a mentor.  These mentors are older Christians who are members of Holland Road.  Mentors meet up with young people in groups of three or four, with the aim of helping the young people in their walk with God. For more information about mentoring, please speak to Adam or Sarah.

Evening services

Young people have the chance to lead an evening service at Holland Road every couple of months.   Young people are involved in every aspect of the service - from playing in the band to sharing testimonies.

Holland Road Baptist Church operates a 'Safe to Grow' policy which is available on request.  All helpers and volunteers with children and youth activities on Sundays and during the week have CRB clearance.
