We’re so excited that our big church weekend away is just around the corner! It’s a brilliant time to relax, build community, make new friends, eat, pray, worship and have tons of fun!

On Sunday 22nd June there is no service at Holland Road. You’re so welcome to join us at Dalesdown! If you are planning to join us please do sign up to help us plan for transport and site security!

We will eat together a lot over the weekend. It’s a great place to meet new people, offer generous hospitality and encourage each other in life.

The weekend away is an amazing time to serve each other by washing up, looking after the kids, serving a delicious meal and more. We’d encourage you to get stuck in wherever you can

Dalesdown is a fantastic place with loads of space for outdoor games including: football, laser tag, touch rugby, volleyball and wide games.
If you prefer the warmth of the indoors, there’ll be board games, jigsaws, reading spaces and lots of tea and coffee!

Payment Plan
Sometimes spreading the cost of payments can be helpful, so if you would like to do this let Jen know and she'll set up an instalment plan for you.

We will also have a bursary fund available for those that are unable to pay the full price of a ticket.

Camping or staying in room
You can get on site from 5.30pm on FridayDay Visitor (Friday)
Arrive from 6pmDay visitor (Sat/Sun)
Aim to arrive between 7am and 9am to make the most of the daySunday service only
Arrive from 10:15am on the Sunday. Service ends at 12.15pmEnd
Weekend finishes at 4pm and we must be off side by 5pm! -
Yes! You must register when you arrive. This is necessary both for the security of those on site, and for the records we have to keep for the Dalesdown administrators
Wristbands
We will give you wristbands which must be worn for the duration of your time on site -
Yes, there will be minibuses going back and forth between Holland Road Baptist Church and Dalesdown each day.
You must book a minibus space with Maggie before Friday 20th, email Maggie who will be in touch

Yes, loads. We are the only people on site. Cars must be in the car park and cannot be parked next to tents.
WHILST THERE

All the meals and snacks are included and there will be plenty. Please see the schedule below for timings of meals.

Guide dogs only
Guide dogs are allowed on site but Dalesdown have a strict no pets policy otherwise.No alcohol
Dalesdown is a dry site. All your food and drink is included in your ticket so there’s no need to bring anything with you. -
Everyone must leave by 4pm on Sunday. If you are a day visitor on Friday or Saturday please leave the site by midnight.

If you’re leaving the site before we all go on the Sunday afternoon you must sign out and back in if you come back.
This is important as we need to have a record of who is on-site in case of an emergency and is a condition of our booking.

The mobile signal across the site is patchy, depending on your network provider.
There’s no electric hook up in the tent area but there will be a charging point available in the building.
We are really encourage everyone to be fully present with those who are there. It’s an amazing opportunity to connect with God and with people. Take a moment to slow down, rest and disconnect from the digital world.

Rooms
You will need to bring a towel, a pillow case and a duvet cover. The bottom sheet, duvet and pillow are provided. All beds are singles.Camping

If you suffer from hayfever then please bring your medication as there are a lot of grassy fields. Suncream will be an essential.Clothes
It can get cold at night so bring warm clothes for the evenings. Bring clothes and shoes suitable for a variety of activites such as sports and going for a hike (depending on what you want to do).Extras
If you have camping chairs or picnic blankets then please bring them with you even if you are a day visitor.Don’t forget your Bible!
